Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Solutions Consultant (Product/Project Manager) for a contract assignment with one of our premier SaaS clients. This role is hybrid in San Jose, CA .

Solutions Consultants within the Office of the General Counsel (OGC) wear many hats, primarily using their Product Management / Project Management skills and playing a pivotal role in driving innovation and business velocity for Legal and Government Relations. You will collaborate with teams across San Jose (CA), Lehi (UT), and Seattle (WA) locations, and be a key member of the Solutions Consulting team. Your primary responsibility will be to spearhead innovation and revolutionize legal and review processes for product development.

Responsibilities :
  • Drive Innovation: Lead the end-to-end launch of products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of excellence.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with business and technical teams and internal customers, to co-develop a strategic roadmap and drive products from concept to launch in a dynamic environment.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Align stakeholders and work with cross-functional teams to turn insights into actionable products that deliver exceptional outcomes.
  • Agile Execution: Operate in an agile environment, continuously refining business needs, priorities, milestones, and deliverables, while identifying opportunities and risks.
  • Visionary Partnership: Collaborate with stakeholders and customers across the organization to shape the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization.
  • Roadmap Development: Contribute to and execute a strategic product roadmap, translating features into well-defined product requirements.
  • Backlog Management: Prioritize and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Launch Excellence: Define and execute comprehensive launch plans, ensuring alignment and success.
  • Performance Tracking: Develop and maintain tracking and reporting mechanisms to evaluate product performance post-launch and inform future investments.

  • Experience:
  • Proven Track Record: At least 3 years of experience in Product Management with additional experience in Program or Project Management.
  • Data-Driven Solutions: Demonstrated success in delivering data-driven solutions with a customer-first mindset.
  • Launch Expertise: Established background in launching software or services in collaboration with technical teams and diverse stakeholders.
  • Agile Proficiency: High proficiency in iterative product development and a deep understanding of Agile principles, complemented by an agile mindset and behaviors.
  • Legal Environment: Experience in a legal environment is a plus, but not required.
