We're seeking a proactive and hands-on IT Hardware Technician to support a major Windows 11 upgrade initiative. What You'll Do:

  • Unbox, assess, and inventory devices to determine Windows 11 compatibility.
  • Perform hardware upgrades, installations, and configurations to meet system requirements.
  • Run diagnostics and ensure all equipment functions properly post-preparation.
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues and assist with repairs or replacements.
  • Collaborate with IT team to prioritize and schedule upgrade tasks.
  • Document hardware configurations and maintain accurate records.
  • Support end-users with hardware-related questions during the transition.
  • Assist with imaging and Windows 11 deployment.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards.
  • Lift and transport hardware components (up to 50 lbs periodically).

What You Bring:

  • Solid understanding of computer hardware and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
  • Experience with help desk support, imaging, and technical deployments.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work independently or in a team.
  • Willingness to jump in, learn quickly, and contribute from day one.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
