Shift: 5X8 Monday - Friday, may require to be on call - starting time as early as 6AM EST
Location: Remote - MUST reside on United States East Coast ; facility to provide laptop, docking station and two monitors
**NOT looking for candidates with database administrator experience**
Job Summary:
The Database Engineer Intermediate designs, analyzes, and modifies Electronic Health Record (EHR) software applications for the organization. Working under moderate supervision, the Database Engineer Intermediate encodes, tests, debugs, and installs the software modules to ensure the system is running smoothly and efficiently for users.
100% remote/ EST time zone a must - must have 1 year of HEALTH CATALYST
Requirements:
- Must reside on United States East Coast - candidates may be subjected to working as early as 6AM EST
-Bachelor's Degree in related field
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Platform-centric Certification
- Power BI and SQL experience required
- 1+ Years of Health Catalyst platform experience
Responsibilities :
must have 1 year of HEALTH CATALYST
- Analyzes the implementation and design of organization databases to ensure databases are both user-friendly and secure.
- Monitors database performance, scalability and security to identify and resolve performance issues and ensure optimal database performance.
- Prepares processes to evaluate existing database designs to determine if final solutions meet organizational needs and improve the overall system.
- Participates in the creation of data architectures for databases and data warehouses to ensure a well-structured and efficient environment.
- Reviews data migrations/conversions and seeks advice from senior management regarding troubleshooting data processing issues that may be complex or difficult.
- Researches the strategy development for data acquisition, archive recovery, and database implementation to ensure successful implementation is aligned with organizational needs.
