Description
We are looking for an experienced Level 2 Technician to provide advanced technical support and ensure smooth operation of IT systems. This role involves resolving complex issues, assisting with system configurations, and maintaining user access controls to support organizational needs. Join our team in Fairfield County, Connecticut, to enhance IT service delivery and contribute to a reliable technology environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for Windows 11 systems, addressing user issues and ensuring optimal functionality.
Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory, including user accounts, permissions, and group policies.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems to minimize downtime.
Respond to and resolve service desk tickets efficiently, prioritizing tasks based on urgency.
Ensure proper documentation of technical solutions and processes for future reference.
Collaborate with other IT team members to implement system upgrades and improve performance.
Assist in maintaining the security of IT systems by applying updates and monitoring for vulnerabilities.
Offer guidance and training to end-users on best practices for system usage.
Perform routine maintenance and checks to ensure system reliability.
Support other IT-related tasks as needed to enhance overall operations.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or related roles.
Proficiency with Active Directory, including user management and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and its functionalities.
Ability to diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues efficiently.
Experience managing service desk tickets and prioritizing tasks.
Familiarity with IT security protocols and system updates.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when documenting processes.
