Database Cloud Engineer

Experience with on-call support, resolving incidents and release management practices.

Strong communication and influencing skills

• At least 8 years of experience working in a large database hybrid environment that includes both on-prem and public cloud resources
• Proven expertise and hands on-experience with deploying and managing relational databases such as Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or Sybase
• Expertise and experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools such as GitHub, Artifactory and Jenkins.
• Think innovatively and have the ability to automate various administrative tasks using the Python, Groovy, Jenkins, Java , and/or shell scripting skills.

Ability to evaluate and propose best-of-breed tools and engineering best-practices.

Experience with configuring alerts and monitors to create a highly available platform
