RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a QA Test Analyst IV in Boca Raton, FL.
Summary:
The main function of a QA test analyst is to develop and execute automated test cases to identify software problems and their causes. This individual must work closely with Engineers to understand the features to be tested and discuss any test failures.
Responsibilities:
* Review and approve test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures
* Review and approve testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability
* Review documentation of software defects and assign software developers to investigate and resolve the issue
* Review and approve test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
* Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance or completeness or to mitigate risks
* Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems
* Develop and execute automated test cases written in Python/Pytest
* Develop and execute complex SQL queries involving multiple tables and/or nested queries
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant field required
* 8-10 years of experience required
* Proficient in Python and Pytest
* Able to write and execute complex SQL queries involving multiple tables and/or nested queries
* Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
* Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time
* Strong mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback
* Strong knowledge of computer software, including applications and programming
* Strong knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in testing data models
* Strong knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology
* Strong knowledge of computer development and testing software, such as Python, Pytest, Selenium, Linux, JavaScript, etc.
* Azure, Databricks, pyspark, and other cloud-based technology experience a plus
* GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipeline experience a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
