Description
We are looking for an experienced Non-IT Project Manager to join our team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This long-term contract position requires a proactive leader who excels at managing complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to effectively coordinate and motivate cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple large-scale projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Define project scope, allocate resources, and create detailed schedules to meet established timelines and budgets.
Lead project teams by assigning tasks, managing workloads, and fostering collaboration across departments.
Establish clear communication channels to keep stakeholders informed of progress, risks, and issues.
Monitor project performance and implement necessary adjustments to ensure successful outcomes.
Facilitate team meetings and decision-making processes to address challenges and drive resolution.
Develop and maintain documentation, including project plans, budgets, proposals, and reports.
Promote best practices in project management methodologies and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Design and implement cost-effective organizational structures to optimize project delivery.
Provide leadership and guidance to team members, offering direction and support as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
Project Management certification with a minimum of 8 years of experience managing projects through their full lifecycle.
Proven expertise in project management methodologies and tools.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate resources efficiently.
Experience in facilitating meetings, negotiating, and resolving issues in a collaborative manner.
Proficiency in planning, organizing, and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Preferred qualifications include FLMI, LOMA 100, and LOMA 200 certifications.
