How you'll make an impact:

As a small, nimble unit within the Training & Enablement team, we design and develop custom solutions to support the ever-evolving needs of SiriusXM Media. We are currently seeking a creative, energetic Senior Full Stack Developer with UI/UX skills to join our highly collaborative team of developers, designers and project managers as we build out our next generation suite of custom tools and features.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with internal teams to understand and evaluate user requirements and identify solutions
• Clearly communicate design and technical concepts to internal stakeholders via wireframes, mockups, and rapid prototypes
• Design and build user interface elements that result in intuitive user experiences
• Develop a wide range of new tools and features using React
• Build reusable and scalable React components that can be leveraged across projects
• Analyze and generate reports from our Postgres database
• Write code to access external APIs (Google, SalesForce, AWS, etc)
• Maintain and improve existing codebase
• Participate in user testing and feedback sessions
• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues one-on-one with end users

What you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or relevant industry experience
• 5-10 years of professional JavaScript experience with React
• 5-10 years of professional experience with Python
• Familiarity with Flask application framework
• Familiarity with Java language
• Familiarity with Hashicorp cloud environment
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs
• Proficiency with SQL queries; bonus points for working knowledge of SQLAlchemy
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3 and SASS, including frameworks like Bootstrap or Material
• Demonstrated experience or strength in UI/UX design
• Familiarity with UX software such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
• Practical experience with package management tools (NPM, Yarn)
• Proficiency with Git / SourceTree
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Comfort working within a wide range of systems, processes and technologies to own and solve problems from end-to-end
• Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects
• Strong interest in learning new systems and technologies
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to interact and work with staff at all levels
• Ability to work independently and in a small team environment
• High level of organization and attention to detail
• Solid presentation skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $90,000 to $148,600 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
