Cloud AWS Engineer

Builds and maintains applications for deployment, monitoring and operations, troubleshoots and resolves issues within AWS environments,
including network, security, storage, and compute-related problems.
Drive & lead technical decisions, design discussions, review artifacts and implementation of the platform / services.
Ensure Well-architected principles and engineering best practices are followed to build a secure, high-performing, resilient and scalable services.
Automate routine operational tasks, ensuring efficiency and reliability in day-to-day operations.
Implement security best practices to keep data safe and control who can access resources.
Manage code deployment and release via GitHub actions / Jenkins and help in troubleshooting issues with existing CI/CD pipeline.
Guide the team development efforts towards successful project delivery.
Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.

BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
10+ years of experience in Application support and Maintenance
5+ years professional experience in AWS or other cloud architecture.
5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud Infrastructure and services.
3+ hands on Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
3+ years of programming in Python.
Strong experience in CI/CD pipelines and integration with in GitHub Actions / Jenkins.
Solid knowledge of cloud security practices and AWS IAM roles/policies.
Experience in designing / integrating REST APIs with third-party services.
