Job Details

Title: IT Asset Management Analyst
Contract: 12 months with possiblities of extension
Location: Fort Mill, SC
Pay Range: $25.00 to $28.00/hr

Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Asset Management Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring data quality, and supporting the software and hardware queues. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our asset management system.

Key Responsibilities:
* Facilitate Receiving and Updating Asset Chain of Custody: Oversee the process of receiving IT assets, ensuring that all assets are accurately logged and tracked throughout their lifecycle. Update the asset chain of custody records to reflect any changes in ownership or status.
* Ensure Data Quality: Maintain high standards of data quality by regularly auditing and updating asset records. Ensure that all asset information is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
* Support Software/Hardware Queue: Provide support for the software and hardware queues by managing requests, tracking progress, and ensuring timely resolution. Collaborate with other IT teams to address any issues related to asset management.
* Asset Inventory Management: Conduct regular physical inventories of IT assets to verify the accuracy of asset records. Reconcile discrepancies and update records as necessary.
* Reporting and Documentation: Generate reports on asset management activities and provide documentation as required. Ensure that all asset management processes are well-documented and adhere to company policies.
* Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to IT asset management. Implement security measures to protect IT assets from theft, loss, or unauthorized access.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
* Accuracy of Asset Records: Maintain an accuracy rate of ***% or higher in asset records.
* Timeliness of Updates: Ensure that asset chain of custody records are updated within 24 hours of any change.
* Data Quality Audits: Conduct quarterly data quality audits with a target of identifying and correcting 100% of discrepancies.
* Queue Resolution Time: Achieve an average resolution time of 48 hours for software and hardware queue requests.
* Inventory Reconciliation: Complete physical inventory reconciliations with less than 2% discrepancy.
* Compliance Rate: Maintain a compliance rate of ***% with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Proven experience in IT asset management or a similar role.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in asset management software and tools.
* Experience with the ServiceNow Platform, specifically the Hardware and Software Asset Management modules.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in IT asset management.
