Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SSIS and DataStage Lead Developer to oversee the design, development, and implementation of ETL solutions. This required for production support flexibility.
The ideal candidate will lead a team of developers, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure data integration processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of SSIS packages for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Optimize and troubleshoot existing SSIS packages and DataStage jobs for performance and reliability.
- Manage and mentor a team of SSIS and DataStage developers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- Implement data quality checks and validation mechanisms.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Coordinate with DBA and infrastructure teams for deployment and maintenance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- 8+ years of experience in SSIS development and support .
- 4 + years of DataStage experience both in Support and Development
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server and T-SQL.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Familiarity with other Microsoft BI tools (SSRS, SSAS) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
