RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is working with a client in search of a Program Manager in Pittsburgh, PA. This role is responsible for the successful definition, implementation, and delivery of complex programs that require cross-functional collaboration and interdependencies between a group of projects and/or related activities. The work is conducted within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and budget, and under circumstances involving multiple moderate-probability, moderate-impact risk factors. The position manages a matrix group of employees and contractors who serve on project teams and/or within departmental work groups to achieve coordinated outcomes.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with leadership to assemble project teams and work groups to produce deliverables required to achieve the objectives of a defined corporate program
* Lead project managers and work group leaders in the development and maintenance of comprehensive plans for a defined program
* Organize, direct, and coordinate cross-functional activities to focus organizational resources on the successful delivery and implementation of desired results for a defined program or strategic initiative
* Work with executive sponsors and other management as required to achieve program objectives; Acquire a detailed understanding of the business goals for the assigned area
* Monitor and evaluate the progress, alignment, and financial health of a cross-functional group of projects and related activities
* Direct corrective actions as needed to maintain program viability
* Report to executive leadership or steering committees on progress, business impacts, and strategies
* Assess risks that might jeopardize successful achievement of program goals, develop mitigation strategies, and implement risk plans
* Partner with procurement as needed to develop and execute strategies related to service or asset contracts
* Manage vendor relationships in accordance with contract and statement of work requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Technology Management-related field
MBA or Master's degree in Technology Management-related field
* Preferred: PMP or equivalent certification in Project Management
* 7-10+ years of experience in project management or delivering business solutions using information technology
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
