Job Title: Senior Data Governance Analyst
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Governance Analyst to join our client to support the integrity, usability, and compliance of enterprise data across a complex healthcare environment. This role partners closely with business and technical teams to strengthen governance frameworks, enhance data warehouse solutions, and ensure data assets are well-defined and trusted. The ideal candidate will play a hands-on role in translating business needs into actionable data standards while evaluating the downstream impact of data changes. This is a temporary-to-hire position based in Philadelphia, PA, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Monday Friday; 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Data Governance Analyst:
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional data governance forums, aligning stakeholders on business rules, reference data standards, and data-related requirements that support enterprise reporting and analytics.
- Oversee the classification, documentation, and lifecycle management of organizational data assets to ensure consistency, accessibility, and proper use.
- Conduct impact assessments, testing, and validation of changes to data warehouse logic, business rules, and derived fields to safeguard data quality.
- Serve as a subject matter resource for data governance and warehouse-related inquiries, providing guidance on standards, controls, and best practices.
- Partner with data acquisition, enrichment, delivery, and management teams to deploy and refine governance solutions across the data ecosystem.
- Perform governance and compliance reviews to confirm adherence to internal policies, regulatory expectations, and healthcare data standards.
- Track and evaluate the effectiveness of governance initiatives, recommending enhancements based on performance metrics and industry trends.
Qualifications and Skills for the Senior Data Governance Analyst:
- A bachelor s degree in information systems, data analytics, computer science, healthcare, or a related discipline, with equivalent experience also considered.
- Seven or more years of experience in healthcare-focused data governance, business systems analysis, or enterprise data management.
- Strong technical knowledge of data warehouse environments, business intelligence tools, and advanced SQL concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven facilitation and presentation skills with a collaborative approach to driving alignment and consensus.
- Highly analytical with strong problem-solving capabilities and a meticulous approach to data validation and profiling.
- Working knowledge of data governance frameworks, methodologies, and supporting tools.
