Role: WMS Analyst
Location: San Ramon, CA, Onsite
Duration: Long-term contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled WMS Analyst to manage and optimize our Warehouse Management System. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day WMS operations, lead system configuration and enhancements, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate inventory control, process efficiency, and system integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for WMS issues, enhancements, and support.
- Configure and maintain the WMS to meet operational needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve WMS-related incidents and provide end-user support.
- Collaborate with operations, IT, and vendors to design and implement system improvements.
- Monitor WMS performance and recommend process optimizations.
- Conduct root cause analysis for system errors and implement corrective actions.
- Support new warehouse implementations, system upgrades, and integration projects.
- Generate operational reports and dashboards for KPIs and inventory analysis.
- Ensure WMS data accuracy, including inventory, order statuses, and transactions.
- Train end-users on WMS functionalities, procedures, and best practices.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- experience with Warehouse Management Systems (e.g., Manhattan, JDA, SAP EWM, Blue Yonder, Oracle WMS, etc.).
- Experience in warehouse or distribution center operations is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools preferred.
- Understanding of supply chain, inventory, and logistics processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with WMS implementation or migration projects.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Knowledge of RF technologies and barcode scanning systems.
- Lean or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
