Position: SAP EWM Functional Lead Consultant

Location: Moline, IL (Onsite)

Role Overview:

As an SAP EWM Functional Lead Consultant, you will spearhead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions. Your expertise will be pivotal in aligning warehouse operations with business objectives, ensuring seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA, and driving efficiency in logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design & Implementation: Lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP EWM, encompassing inbound, outbound, internal warehouse processes, and integration with SAP S/4HANA modules such as MM, SD, and PP
• Business Process Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct gap analysis, and design solutions that align with industry best practices and client needs.
• Configuration & Customization: Configure SAP EWM modules, including warehouse structure, storage types, picking strategies, and handling unit management
• Integration Management: Oversee the integration of SAP EWM with Material Flow Systems (MFS), Transportation Management (TM), and third-party logistics providers.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop test plans, conduct unit and integration testing, and support user acceptance testing to ensure system functionality and performance.
• Training & Support: Provide training to end-users, create user manuals, and offer post-implementation support to address issues and optimize system performance.
• Project Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of consultants, manage project timelines, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP EWM, with at least 2 full-cycle implementations
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics processes, and supply chain management.
• Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA EWM configuration, including warehouse structure, RF framework, and handling unit management.
• Experience with SAP MFS, TM, and integration with external systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage client relationships effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP EWM certification.
• Experience in the manufacturing or automotive industry.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SAP Activate.
• Knowledge of advanced EWM features such as Yard Management, Labor Management, and Slotting.
