Russell Tobin + Associates is currently seeking a Human Resource Business Partner (Remote). This is a 6+ months contract with potential for extension/conversion for successful contractors!
Position: Human Resource Business Partner
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 6+ months, with possible extension
Pay rate: $96.00-98.00/hr on w2
JOB SUMMARY:
Major duties and responsibilities:
- Supports the core tech (approx. 500 FTEs)
- Day-to-day HR functions to include annual cycles, midyear promos, performance management, coaching leadership, assisting with org analysis, etc.
- Provides human resources consultation and support to a designated business unit.
- Uses knowledge of various human resources functions, including staffing, compensation, benefits, training and employee relations to provide tactical HR support to line managers.
- Consults with business unit management in the strategic planning process and development of human resources strategies that support the unit's business needs.
- Acts as a liaison to other human resources functions when necessary.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Must have:
- 5+ years prior HRBP experience within a tech or engineering firm
- Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and required years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Previous experience supporting a minimum of 300 FTEs (although size doesn't matter, as long as the volume is there)
- Experience with Google sheets, Excel and some time of HRIS system experience (Workday is a huge plus).
- Skills within a HRIS system to be able to read data to tell stories and be able to influence the outcome.
