As a Senior Payload RF Engineer within LM Space, you will perform the following:

Support Global Security portfolios by performing payload analysis on world class RF Payloads.

Engage with other leaders and Subject Matter Experts to ensure a given program within Global Securities is effective.

Collaborate with customers and program leadership to ensure the results of payload products and milestones.

Example assignments include RF Payload analysis, Requirement verification, calibration, risk/opportunities, support to proposal efforts, payload post-test analysis and Payload Check-out to support transition to Operations.

The selected candidate would have:

3+ years of electrical, RF, or related systems experience.

Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance. (or active TS/SCI clearance)

Bachelor's degree or higher in a related engineering or STEM discipline.

Ability to work within a dynamic and exciting team.

Ability to work on site full-time at our Waterton Campus in Littleton, CO.

Basic Qualifications

Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance

Degree in electrical engineering or STEM related degree/certification

Experience using MATLAB, Python, or related languages

Extensive experience analyzing and verifying technical requirements/functions for engineering systems

Demonstrated experience reviewing engineering data/reports to verify compliance to RF engineering requirements (typically received from suppliers, factories, etc.)

Desired skills

Active TS/SCI clearance

Excellent problem solving and Troubleshooting skills

5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree

Experience with RF simulation, modeling and Link budget analysis

Strong desire to learn new RF concepts/systems and take initiative

Experience with Agile concepts and Atlasian Suite

Experience with AI/ML applications in data and/or system analysis

Team player with demonstrated ability to participate in cross functional teams to achieve common goals

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with management, and peers

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $97,100 - $171,235. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
