Sr. Quality Analyst

Remote.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Senior Quality Analyst with strong expertise in both project management and analytics to join our quality team.
This role will focus on supporting HEDIS/Stars programs by developing performance reports, analyzing data trends, and driving strategic quality improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will combine healthcare quality knowledge, technical skills, and a proactive mindset to support enterprise-wide quality strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Provide project management leadership for quality initiatives, ensuring timely execution of deliverables.
Develop, enhance, and maintain dashboards and performance reports to monitor HEDIS/Stars measures.
Analyze clinical quality data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate cross-functionally with regional quality teams, payor contracting, and health plan strategy groups to align reporting with organizational goals.
Stay up to date with CMS and NCQA measure specifications to ensure compliance and accuracy in reporting.
Support HEDIS/Stars submissions, audits, and quality improvement projects.
Conduct ad hoc analyses and reporting for leadership and operational teams.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across reporting platforms.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Health Information Management, Public Health, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of data analytics experience, with at least 2 years in healthcare quality programs (HEDIS, Stars, Medicare Advantage, or equivalent).
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, lookups).
Experience with reporting/visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
Solid knowledge of HEDIS/Stars programs, healthcare quality measures, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Effective communicator, able to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP certification or formal project management training.
Familiarity with provider relations and customer service processes.
