The Northern Trust Company seeks a Principal, Cyber Sec Eng to develop and administer solutions for the Information Security Engineering and Support function. Plan, develop, organize, monitor, and deliver codes, unit tests, and support documentation. Utilize knowledge of information security concepts to determine business unit goals and resources needed. Assist architects in the technical design for security solutions and provide application architectural oversight. Ensure that all supported systems and applications maintain availability standards. Review processes and procedures to recommend automations and improvements. #LI-DNI
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems or a related STEM field followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience with software design, development, testing, and implementation according to IDM industry standards. Experience must include a minimum of: 5 years of experience designing and implementing enterprise-strength security solutions; 5 years of experience writing, testing, and deploying Security Applications; 5 years of experience with enterprise web applications and two factor authentication tokens; 5 years of experience implementing IDM use cases including identity processing, access request, access certification, approval workflows, and provisioning connectors; 5 years of experience managing teams including architects, developers, and QA; and 5 years of experience with DB modeling, J2EE stack, and PCF cloud-based architecture. Part time telecommuting may be permitted. #LI-DNI

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay.
