Physician Assistant (PA)

Location: Alameda, Contra Costa, Solano County, CA

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our healthcare team. The PA will work collaboratively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other clinical staff to provide high-quality patient-centered care in outpatient and/or primary care settings.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, physical examinations, and medical histories.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses within scope of practice.
Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and lab results.
Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling to patients and families.
Collaborate with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation in the EMR.
Participate in quality improvement and care coordination initiatives.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
Qualifications:
Master s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies (or equivalent).
Active Physician Assistant License (PA-C) in the State of California.
Minimum of 2+ years of clinical experience preferred (Primary Care, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics).
Bilingual (Spanish/English) highly preferred for Alameda, Contra Costa, and Solano Counties.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative care team model.
