Description
We are seeking a highly technical and versatile Infrastructure Systems Integration Engineer to serve as the connective tissue across our data center, networking, and systems engineering domains. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, understands how infrastructure components interact, and can dive deep into hands-on work to solve integration challenges.
**This is not a project management or assistant role-it's a technical position requiring architectural awareness, operational experience, and the ability to execute across multiple domains.
Currently the responsibilities of this role are being filled by varying team members, including the director. Not an efficient use of time and they need someone who can be the pilot in command.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a technical integrator across systems, networking, and data center operations.
Own and execute hands-on tasks such as OS installation, hardware qualification, and remote system access (e.g., via BMC-Base Command Manager).
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and architecture teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration of infrastructure components.
Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues that span multiple domains.
Support proof-of-concept deployments and validate hardware/software compatibility.
Serve as a technical escalation point for cross-functional infrastructure issues.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in systems engineering, network engineering, or data center operations.
Strong understanding of how infrastructure components (servers, optics, transceivers, switches, etc.) work together.
Hands-on experience with system provisioning, OS installation, and remote management tools
Familiarity with data center environments and operational workflows.
Ability to work independently and solve ambiguous technical problems.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in hyperscale or large-scale enterprise environments.
Exposure to infrastructure architecture or systems design.
Scripting or automation experience (e.g., Python, Bash, Ansible) is a plus.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $90.00/hr.
