This role places you at the intersection of engineering, quality systems, and product development-where your work directly supports patient safety, product performance, and regulatory compliance.

Hours & Pay


  • Pay Rate: $37 an hour

    Schedule: Full-time, onsite

  • Employment Type: Contract with potential for permanent conversion

  • Location: Maple Grove, MN

  • Visa Sponsorship: Not available now or in the future


What You'll Work On


  • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Process Development, and Marketing teams to support product quality objectives

  • Support design verification and validation activities by:

    • Writing and executing test protocols and reports

    • Assisting with test method validation

    • Coordinating testing activities and evaluating results



  • Participate in risk management activities, including documentation, analysis, and mitigation support

  • Apply structured problem-solving methods to identify, communicate, and help resolve quality issues

  • Assist in developing and executing quality systems and processes that support continuous improvement initiatives

  • Serve as a quality representative on project teams, increasing visibility and awareness of quality initiatives throughout the organization


What We're Looking For


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a scientific discipline

  • 0-1 year of relevant experience, including internships, co-ops, or academic project work

  • Foundational knowledge of design verification, validation, or test method validation

  • Strong analytical thinking, organization, and communication skills

  • Hands-on mindset with a willingness to learn in a regulated, cross-functional engineering environment

  • Interest in quality systems, risk management, and product development in medical or regulated industries


Preferred Experience:


  • Internship or co-op experience in quality engineering, design assurance, or medical device environments

  • Exposure to risk management tools such as FMEA or hazard analysis

  • Familiarity with validation testing or regulated quality systems
