Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Issue Quality Analyst for a short-term contract assignment with one of our premier financial services clients in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities :
The Consent Order (CO) Issue Quality Assurance (iQA) Lead Analyst (VP) is a strategic professional within the Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM) Controls team supporting the delivery of the Compliance Transformation (CO) plan though a review and challenge process. IQA focuses on assessing the quality execution of Transformation work efforts and deliverables using information provided by regulatory commitment owners. In addition, this role provides advice and counsel related to the iQA process, as well as risk and controls, and how to evidence commitment closure. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and convince others. This role reports into a iQA Sr. Lead Analyst within the ICRM Controls Team and will work as part of a small project team with the opportunity to manage, or perform solo reviews, as the need arises.

- Complete assigned iQA reviews with a focus on verifying controls and risk reduction by defining and executing assessment/testing strategies
- Analyze processes and controls to credibly challenge proposed changes and risk management
- Provide advice on control design and effectiveness
- Lead review meetings and conduct control walkthrough meetings as needed
- Complete analysis, controls testing, QA checklists, document results, and maintain trackers
- Manage stakeholder and other business/function iQA participation as part of assigned reviews
- Assist with the analysis of feedback themes and trends
- Assist with the presentation of themes and trends and training
- Assist with the maintenance of templates and procedure documents
- Contribute to ICRM iQA process change and improvement
- Bachelor's/University degree
- Audit, testing, or other quality assurance/control experience
- Knowledge of risk and controls concepts e.g. Risk identification and measurement, risk management and control design
- Effective organizational influencing skills required
- Ability to see the big picture with high attention to critical details
- Highly organized with demonstrated capability of managing oneself to tight deadlines
- Audit related qualification preferred
- Financial services industry experience (Audit, Testing, QA, Control)
