Power BI Technical Lead - Oaks, PA - 25-04902

Location : Oaks, PA Hybrid

Duration: 6+ Months



We are currently seeking a Power BI Technical Lead to join our team in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania (US-PA), United States (US).

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Power BI Technical Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-level financial reports and dashboards. You will lead a team of BI developers and SQL Developers, collaborate with QAs, business analysts, and other stakeholders, and ensure robust, scalable, and insightful reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI. This role requires deep expertise in Power BI, data modeling, DAX, and SQL, along with a strong understanding of financial data and reporting processes. Knowledge and hands-on experience with Power BI integration with Snowflake would be preferred.

Location: Oaks/Hybrid
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's (or above) degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At lease 7-9 years of experience with at least 4 years of experience as a Technical Lead.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Technical Skills:

  • Proven track record of designing, implementing, and optimizing Power BI solutions.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, data visualization, and DAX.
  • Experience with SQL for data manipulation and extraction.
  • Familiarity with data warehouse concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Certifications: Power BI certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop data models, reports, and dashboards that align with business objectives.
  • Define and manage data architecture based on business reporting needs.
  • Ensure the Power BI environment can handle large datasets and user loads efficiently.
  • Gather and analyse requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
  • Work with data engineers and other teams to integrate Power BI with existing infrastructure and analytics platforms.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams on best practices for Power BI development.
  • Create documentation like solution architecture, design, etc.
