DESKTOP SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and technically proficient Desktop Support Technician
to join our team in a fast-paced Manufacturing environment. This position is
responsible for providing IT support across both office and production areas,
ensuring minimal downtime and high user satisfaction. The right candidate will
be experienced with Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and general
desktop support, with exposure to broader infrastructure technologies
considered a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day desktop support to employees across the organization, including shop floor personnel.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues on-site and remotely.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral equipment.
  • Administer user accounts and permissions in Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Support and manage Microsoft 365 applications including Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Document procedures, configurations, and resolutions clearly and consistently.
  • Work collaboratively with IT staff to support systems, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.

Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in a desktop support or helpdesk role.
  • Proficient with Windows OS, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to prioritize and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Familiarity with basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Experience supporting users in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in aerospace or regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of or exposure to:
    • Microsoft Server (2016/2019/2022)
    • Microsoft SQL Server
    • Microsoft Hyper-V
    • VMware ESXi
    • Microsoft Exchange
    • ECI M1 ERP system
    • Laserfiche
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Certified, MCSA, or VMware VCP are a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
