Description:

The Lead Enterprise Architect (Data) is responsible for shaping and executing the enterprise data architecture strategy in alignment with evolving business objectives. This role will influence the direction of data strategy based on new business needs, drive modernization of data integrations, and ensure robust documentation and stewardship of Systems of Record. The architect will lead efforts to move the organization toward real-time, efficient, and scalable data patterns, minimizing latency and unnecessary duplication.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Define and champion the enterprise data architecture vision and roadmap to support strategic business goals.
    Influence data strategy by collaborating with senior stakeholders and understanding emerging business requirements.
    Oversee documentation and governance of Systems of Record, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
    Lead modernization of data integrations, advancing from legacy patterns to real-time, event-driven, and scalable architectures.
    Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, standards, and performance metrics for data systems.
    Evaluate and select advanced data technologies, platforms, and vendors that support modernization and strategic objectives.
    Drive continuous improvement and innovation in enterprise data management capabilities.
    Mentor and develop data architecture teams, promoting best practices and accountability.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
    10+ years of enterprise architecture experience with a strong focus on data strategy and integration.
    Proven leadership in large-scale data architecture and transformation projects.
    Deep expertise in enterprise data management, data integration, cloud platforms, and regulatory compliance.
    Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
    Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change across complex organizations.
