Cloud Database Engineer

Allentown, PA (Hybrid, Onsite M-W/F)

We are hiring a Cloud Database Engineer with strong expertise in PostgreSQL, EDB Postgres, and AWS RDS Aurora to design and manage scalable, high-performance data platforms in hybrid cloud environments. In this role, you will develop resilient database solutions on-premises and in AWS, focusing on performance, availability, and security. You will manage PostgreSQL databases, implement advanced EDB Postgres features, and administer AWS RDS Aurora deployments, including automated backups, scaling, and failover. The ideal candidate has deep experience in database migrations, schema design, performance tuning, and automation using SQL, PowerShell, and Unix shell scripting. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, you will ensure efficient integration of data services while driving improvements in architecture and security practices. AWS certification is preferred.
