Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with expertise in application development to join our IT team in Woburn, Massachusetts. This is a long-term contract position that requires a dynamic individual capable of managing multiple projects and delivering high-quality software solutions that align with business goals. In this hybrid role, you will work both remotely and on-site, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive project success and innovation.

Responsibilities:
Oversee the management of IT portfolio activities, engaging with both IT staff and business leaders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Collaborate across departments to identify business improvement opportunities, develop initial project scopes, and draft business cases.
Evaluate project proposals and plans to establish timeframes, resource needs, and procedures for successful completion.
Manage application development projects from initiation to implementation, including planning phases, personnel assignments, setting milestones, and ensuring deliverables meet expectations.
Lead project teams by providing guidance, resolving issues, and fostering motivation throughout the project lifecycle.
Create detailed project status reports and summaries for stakeholders, offering transparency around progress, risks, and challenges.
Escalate critical project issues such as budget constraints, resource shortages, or scope changes to senior management promptly.
Develop creative solutions to challenges, ensuring projects meet business requirements and deadlines.
Present regular updates on project status, risks, and outcomes to IT and business leadership.
Ensure effective prioritization and resource allocation to accomplish multiple tasks within agreed timelines.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
At least 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Familiarity with operations in the tower industry, leasing, or real estate is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present ideas to diverse audiences.
Strong organizational skills, capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional leadership abilities, with experience motivating teams and driving results.
Proficiency in utilizing project management methodologies and tools to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt to varying business requirements.
