Must-Have Skills:
Strong Python automation skills; develop and maintain test scripts and procedures.
Firmware/software test case development, CI, and automation on Linux & Windows.
Debug issues across bring-up, validation, and production phases of SoC programs.
Cross-team collaboration and test execution tracking.

Role Summary:
Seeking an experienced Firmware Test Engineer to design and develop pre-silicon firmware test plans for Server SoC and GPU components.
Responsibilities include reviewing product requirements, coordinating with validation and system engineering teams, defining system-level test plans, enabling simulation support, and creating comprehensive test cases.

Key Responsibilities:
Automate, create, and execute detailed BIOS/firmware tests (Python).
Use Jenkins and internal tools to run tests, capture logs, and report failures.
Ensure timely test completion and coverage.
Drive validation improvements-tools, scripts, methodologies.
Debug hardware/software issues across all development phases.
Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams.

Preferred Experience:
Python-based automation and test development.
Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of hardware/software interfaces & computer architecture (CPU/GPU/memory/bus).
Programming/scripting: Python, Bash, C/C++.
Networking fundamentals.
Comfort with Windows and Linux environments.

Education:
BS in CS, CE, or EE + 5+ years firmware/BIOS test plan development experience.
