Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy applications using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to translate requirements into scalable software solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code while following coding standards and best practices.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Ensure application security compliance, particularly in government/federal project settings.
- Document technical specifications and support system architecture decisions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
- Experience with REST APIs, Microservices, and Web Services (SOAP/REST).
- Proficiency in databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven, Gradle).
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with federal or defense projects.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
