RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Applications Test Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO.

Duties:
* Conducting post-processing and analysis of collected data
* Development of action plans based upon analysis of data
* Documenting software deficiency reports
* Presenting analysis results and plans of action orally and/or in written format (e.g., slides, annotated slides, test report document)

REQUIREMENTS:
* Technical Bachelor's degree (Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or Computer Science) or significant professional experience; Masters degree highly desired
* Security+ certification (or similar) is required within 60 days of starting; Highly preferred at start
* Prior experience in an Agile development process
* Prior experience testing and verifying requirements in software applications/systems
* Must possess strong verbal/written communications skills enabling him/her to work effectively in a small technical team environment

Desired Experience:
* Automated testing for requirement verification
* Performance requirement and verification analysis
* Verification of ICD and interface requirements
* Experience in a DevSecOps environment extremely desirable

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
