Description
We are looking for a skilled Application Development Project Manager/Lead to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will oversee technology-driven projects, ensuring seamless execution from initial discovery to final implementation. This is a long-term contract position, ideal for professionals with a strong IT project management background and a passion for delivering impactful solutions in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage the lifecycle of application development projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Facilitate Agile and Scrum ceremonies, ensuring effective communication and coordination among cross-functional teams.
Evaluate, recommend, and implement enterprise technology solutions tailored to organizational needs.
Oversee Mobile Device Management platform implementations, leveraging hands-on experience for optimal results.
Partner with IT, security, and business teams to drive alignment and promote adoption of new solutions.
Maintain project documentation and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering collaboration and productivity.
Address potential risks and challenges proactively, ensuring smooth project progression.
Communicate project updates effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
Requirements
Proven experience managing technology and application development projects from start to finish.
Strong understanding of IT project management principles and practices.
Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies, with hands-on experience in facilitating ceremonies.
Familiarity with Mobile Device Management platforms; direct experience is highly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to evaluate and implement enterprise-level technology solutions.
Excellent organizational and change management skills in fast-paced environments.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across multiple teams.
PMP certification and knowledge of coding, CMS, Master Data Management, and Informatica are advantageous.
