We are seeking an engineer to join the Intelligent System Experience team! You will collaborate with various cross-functional teams, including engineering, data engineering, product, design, and QA, to enhance the platform that facilitates ChatGPT integration at Apple. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapidly evolving priorities and possess a genuine passion for Apple's users!
Description You will lead planning and implementation of ChatGPT platform features. That means that you will: - Collaborate with the engineering management, teammates, product, design, data engineering, QE and cross-functional partners to deliver improvements for the ChatGPT platform at Apple. - Lead software development work by writing code, answering questions and doing code reviews. - Provide clear, timely and objective communication. - Proactively identify issues and solutions, and marshal resources necessary to attack and resolve any issues related to your area of ownership.

Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent coding skills in any programming language and strong understanding of data structures.
- Knowledge of technical system architecture and systems design tradeoffs.
- Strong analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence.
- Client side code development experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- iOS/MacOS development experience.
- Experience with LLM platform work.
