Job Description
Title: Drafter
Onsite/Remote: Onsite - Colorado Springs
Start Date: 6/17/2024
Compensation: $20 to $29/hr. (based on experience)
Summary
The Drafter will be experienced in preparing clear, complete, and accurate working plans and detailed drawings
A solid understanding of the industry related drafting techniques and engineering terminology is required
They will also actively manage their time to maintain efficient, effective, and accurate production within their projects
Also, the Drafter will have strong communication skills and be able to accomplish the results of the project at hand

Primary Responsibilities
Actively participate in QA/QC to ensure consistency within the department
Work with Project teams to ensure project deliverables are completed accurately and on time
Clearly convey design philosophies, expectations, and timeline
Works with Project Drafting Lead to complete drafting assignments in timely manner
Create and setup CAD files
Adhere to company standards when creating/modifying drawings
Self-check drawings and models prior to delivery to Project Drafting Lead
Generate project deliverables utilizing Adobe Acrobat
Maintain and continually improve technical and professional abilities
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
Specialize in AutoCAD software
High level of organizational skills
Advanced user of Microsoft office suites
