Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Desktop Support Operator to join our onsite IT support team in Pensacola, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to end-users, including hardware setup, desktop software troubleshooting, and basic network support.
This is a full-time onsite role requiring excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for desktop/laptop hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Install, configure, and support Windows 11 OS.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and perform equipment setup and replacements.
- Assist users with connectivity and basic network troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate documentation of issues and resolutions using tools such as ServiceNow (if applicable).
- Support Microsoft Office products including Office 365 and Microsoft Teams.
- Manage and maintain printer servers (if applicable).
Required Skills:
- Experience working independently and/or in team settings to support end users.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with hardware setup, installation, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with Windows 11 support and issue resolution.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., IP addressing, DNS, DHCP).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Security+ certification or a degree in IT or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience with printer server management.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow ticketing systems.
- Hands-on experience with Office 365 and Microsoft Teams environments.
Additional Information:
This position is 100% onsite in Pensacola, Florida. Local candidates or those willing to relocate are preferred.
