Job Description
We re seeking a Mobile QA Engineer with hands-on experience in Android and/or iOS mobile platforms. This role requires a solid understanding of the wireless telecom ecosystem and a passion for working with cutting-edge products and emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, document, and revise test plans, procedures, and quality standards for wireless products and accessories.
Lead bug tracking and resolution processes; perform software upgrades using OEM tools.
Manage test sample inventory, ensuring proper tracking and timely firmware upgrades.
Validate OEM/test partner results through regression testing and ad hoc evaluations.
Execute and certify Maintenance Releases (MRs) and Security MRs, ensuring regression plans and impacted test cases are covered.
Oversee device activations/deactivations and maintain relevant testing tools.
Compile detailed engineering reports, including logs and bug tracking updates.
Troubleshoot issues, support field testing, and assist in root cause analysis.
Monitor and respond to customer-reported issues, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Collaborate across internal development, E2E teams, and project stakeholders.
Maintain and deploy new test tools and improve test methodologies as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience with Android/iOS mobile devices.
Knowledge of LTE and 5G (RF & Core).
Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience in field testing and customer support troubleshooting is a plus.
