Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and driven UX Researcher with a focus on Human Resources (HR) to join our client's team. This role is pivotal in planning and executing user-centered design strategies by leveraging insights from research and UX best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and a passion for crafting exceptional experiences that influence strategic product decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic partner to design and product teams to plan and execute research initiatives.
- Conduct and lead user research using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Translate research findings into actionable insights that inform design and business decisions.
- Develop and maintain journey maps, personas, and user stories throughout project lifecycles.
- Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions with cross-functional teams.
- Package insights into accessible tools and documentation (personas, scenarios, principles).
- Present findings to stakeholders in compelling formats, influencing product direction.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and advocate for a user-centric approach across the organization.
- Ensure research outcomes align with business goals and user needs.
- Utilize third-party research platforms to recruit participants and conduct usability studies.
- Contribute to building UX Research practices, playbooks, and internal education.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 10 years of experience in UX/market/consumer research and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of various research methodologies (usability testing, interviews, ethnography, surveys, workshops, etc.).
- Skilled in using third-party UX research tools and platforms.
- Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research approaches.
- Experience with Agile environments and product development processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
- Proven ability to build stakeholder relationships and drive user-centered culture.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple research initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Desired Qualifications:
- Background in product development, technology, or design.
- Familiarity with design thinking methodology.
- Master's Degree in Human Factors, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Social Science, Strategy, Market Research, IT, or related field (preferred).
