Technical Delivery Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Delivery Manager to lead and oversee the successful delivery of cloud-based data and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric, along with strong leadership and project management capabilities.

  • Microsoft stack, Azure services, DevSecOps, Open sources technology and its seamless implementation and migration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex data and analytics projects using Azure, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric
• Define and articulate the strategic direction for the assigned portfolio, aligning it with client needs and firm objectives.
• Oversee the development and execution of project plans, ensuring resource optimization and milestones achievement.
• Champion change management, ensuring scope changes is maintained, managed, and governed within the defined methodology.
• Build, Inspire, mentor, and guide cross functional teams towards exceptional performance and professional growth.
• Working closely with the sales/pre-sales team to lead building new deals proposals.
• Oversee portfolio budgets and providing financial oversight.
• Foster a culture of proactive issue identification and resolution, taking charge of complex problem-solving situations.
• Ensure seamless communication across all levels, from team members to top management and stakeholders.
• Manage a diverse project portfolio, ensuring high-quality delivery across various stages of development.
• Embrace challenges, demonstrate agility in decision-making, and provide expert solutions in real-time.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Ensure technical solutions align with business goals and architectural standards.
• Manage project risks, dependencies, and resource allocations to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Drive agile delivery practices and continuous improvement across teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates and managing expectations.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Technical Delivery Manager or similar role in enterprise-level data projects.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure services including Data Lake, Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Azure DevOps.
• Expertise in Databricks for big data processing, machine learning, and collaborative analytics.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric for unified data analytics and Power BI integration.
• Solid understanding of data architecture, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud-native development.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure Boards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft certifications in Azure or Databricks.
• Experience in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare) is a plus.
• Background in data governance, security, and compliance.
