Hybrid: Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week.
Local candidates only (must be located within 2 hours of Lansing, MI at time of submission)

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the following:
1. Install and configure systems and application components on Windows and Linux environments
2. Gather and document requirements, researching and presenting options, analyzing and recommending solutions for both ongoing application changes and new efforts
3. Experienced and knowledgeable with the following tools and technologies: Windows Server administration (2016 and later), RHEL 7.0 and above, Cloud Infrastructure Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Platform, Tomcat, IIS, MS SQL Management Studio, Dynatrace/ Similar debug tools, XML, PowerShell, Azure DevOps, Visio, SSO (SAML, OAuth, OpenID), Network knowledge LAN/WAN, Architecture, Firewalls, IOT, etc.
4. Analytical skills and extensive experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, monitoring, networks, firewalls, architecture including diagraming, remediating vulnerabilities and other application and server support duties

Position Description
This position is responsible for providing technical support for COTS (Custom Off the Shelf) packages for the Management and Budget side of DTMB.
This role will perform system administrator assignments including but not limited to installing systems and application components and configuring them on Windows and Linux environments. This role will also be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, researching and presenting options, analyzing and recommending solutions for both ongoing application changes and new efforts. Ensuring application and infrastructure security following Federal, State and industry standards are also an essential trait in this role. This position requires heavy collaboration with vendors, customers, and other technical areas to understand and execute projects and changes timely.
This position is expected to be proficient and knowledgeable with the following tools and technologies: Windows Server administration (2016 and later), RHEL 7.0 and above, Cloud Infrastructure Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Platform, Tomcat, IIS, MS SQL Management Studio, Dynatrace/ Similar debug tools, XML, PowerShell, Azure DevOps, Visio, SSO (SAML, OAuth, OpenID), Network knowledge LAN/WAN, Architecture, Firewalls, IOT, etc.
This position will maintain various COTS applications and help configure changes as required for some SAAS products. To serve in this capacity this position should have thorough analytical skills and extensive experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, monitoring, networks, firewalls, architecture including diagraming, remediating vulnerabilities and other application and server support duties.
