Job Details
Project Manager (SaaS Implementation-With Insurance Industry experience)
New Hartford, Connecticut- Onsite
C2H on W2 only
Candidates MUST have insurance industry experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the implementation of third-party policy and payment platform implementation
- Drive SaaS implementation from discovery phase to end
- Develop and execute detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations
- Collaborate with internal business, IT, and operations teams, as well as external SaaS vendors
- Oversee system integration, data migration, and user acceptance testing
- Identify risks, track issues, and ensure timely resolution
- Ensure project delivery aligns with business goals, regulatory requirements, and quality standards
- Facilitate regular project status meetings and executive updates, ensuring clear visibility into progress and risks
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics throughout the implementation lifecycle
- Coordinate and validate cutover planning, go-live activities, and post-implementation support
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and procurement in coordination with finance and vendor management teams
- Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance standards are integrated into all project phases
- Continuously evaluate and refine implementation processes to improve future project efficiency and outcomes
- Lead change management and training efforts to support user adoption
Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management experience, with a focus on enterprise SaaS implementations with an insurance industry environment, including policy and claims workflows
- Experience implementing payment system, billing software, third-party policy administration or claims systems (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek, EIS, Majesco)
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and vendor relationships
- Strong understanding of system integration principles, data mapping, and API-based connectivity in SaaS environments
- Demonstrated success managing regulatory and compliance considerations in insurance-related technology projects (e.g., SOC 2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA)
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
