Required Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in Business and Data Analysis
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience working in Agile teams, including creating business and technical user stories in Jira
- Mortgage domain experience (required)
- Familiarity with command-line operations, including executing Python scripts and navigating log directories to analyze logs
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret disparate data sources, distill complex information, and generate actionable insights
- Ability to translate non-technical business requirements into technical rules or methodologies
- Ability to quickly learn business operations and processes
- Strong communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Flexibility and adaptability to adjust plans based on evolving business needs
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the buildout of strategic, scalable data platforms in partnership with business and technology stakeholders
- Partner with client analytics teams to understand business-specific data sources, elements, and relationships
- Translate high-level business requirements into complete, end-to-end analytical solutions
- Identify opportunities for advanced analytics and reporting across business-aligned testing teams
- Collaborate with clients to expand capabilities in machine learning, natural language processing, and automation
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to develop a strong understanding of targeted business areas
- Work closely with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and drive project goals
