Years of Experience
8+ years of experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering roles with a focus on cloud infrastructure automation.

Kong / APIM Management Experience

:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in event and queue-based messaging platform architecture, operations, and engineering (e.g., Solace, Kafka, Amazon MSK, IBM MQ, RabbitMQ)
Experience designing and implementing event-driven microservices and asynchronous communication patterns
Knowledge of core messaging protocols (Pub/Sub, Queueing, Topic-based routing), Solace APIs (JMS, REST, MQTT), and event broker configurations
Experience designing and implementing event-driven microservices and asynchronous communication patterns
Understanding of consumer groups, partitions, offsets, and message retention strategies in distributed messaging systems
Solid grasp of networking fundamentals, including firewall rules, load balancing, and secure message routing
Hands-on experience with event streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS/SNS, and Solace PubSub+

Required:
Experience in developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Helm.
Hand-on experience designing and building CI / CD Pipelines integrating security, testing, and best practices.
Proficient in programming languages (Python, Go, or similar) and scripting languages for automation tasks (Bash and/or PowerShell).
Experience building scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure platforms in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
Extensive experience with AWS Services and container platforms (e.g., ECS Fargate, EKS, Lambda, IAM, Secrets Manager).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Familiar with Security best practices ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Tooling Ecosystem: Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Harness), artifact management (Artifactory), and monitoring (Dynatrace, CloudWatch).
Incident Response: Experience in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and post-mortem processes in cloud environments.

Preferred:
Demonstrated experience designing and managing highly available, scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure cloud infrastructure.
Experience designing and managing multi-region/distributed systems for high availability.
Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AWS CloudWatch, OpenSearch, OpenTelemetry) for monitoring and alerting.
Hands-on experience with incident management, troubleshooting, and post-mortem processes for production environments.
Experience building reusable frameworks and infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, and CI/CD to enable self-service and automation.
Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Comfortable driving technical discussions and aligning cross-functional teams to meet goals.
Proven experience mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
Stay current with emerging technologies, recommending, and implementing improvements where applicable.
