Location Designation: Hybrid - 3 days per week 
 
New York Life is seeking a physical Security Intelligence Analyst to join its Corporate Security organization. This individual will play a key role in strengthening our security position by proactively identifying, evaluating, and communicating threats that may impact our people, facilities, events, or operations. This is a highly collaborative, data-driven position requiring both strategic analysis and tactical follow-up.
 
What You'll Do:
Collect, evaluate, and synthesize intelligence from diverse open-source and proprietary feeds.
Conduct timely follow-up investigations on threat reports or concerning activity, ensuring thorough documentation and tracking, and escalating matters appropriately.
Maintain and manage records related to intelligence reports and investigative follow-ups, including tracking of persons of interest.
Expand and sustain partnerships with peer organizations and external intelligence networks to foster timely information sharing.
Assess, onboard, and manage intelligence vendors and subscriptions, with oversight from Corporate Security leadership.
Provide regular and ad hoc written and verbal briefings to leadership to inform decision-making.
Operate with a sense of urgency and immediately inform Corporate Security leadership of relevant geopolitical, social, or operational threats that could impact NYL operations.
 
What You'll Do:
Bachelor's degree preferred (e.g., Criminal Justice, Intelligence Studies, International Affairs, Homeland Security, or similar); Master's a plus.
5+ years of experience in intelligence, investigations, law enforcement, military, or related security-focused environments.
Strong understanding of global and domestic threat landscapes.
Proven experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to derive actionable insights.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including presenting findings to senior leaders.
Experience with threat monitoring systems, OSINT tools, or security intelligence platforms preferred.
 
Pay Transparency
 
Salary Range: $97,500-$139,500
 
Overtime eligible: Exempt
 
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
 
Sales bonus eligible: No
 
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
