Responsibilities:



  • Hands-on Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and other relevant Salesforce technologies.

  • Architectural Guidance: Contribute to the overall Salesforce architecture, including data models, integrations, security, and scalability.

  • Customization Strategy: Evaluate and provide recommendations on leveraging out-of-the-box Salesforce features versus custom development to meet business requirements efficiently and effectively.

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other Salesforce developers and team members.

  • Solution Design: Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and other team members to understand business needs and translate them into technical designs.

  • Integration Management: Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems.

  • Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks within the Salesforce platform.

  • Code Quality and Standards: Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and code review processes.

  • Release Management: Participate in the planning and execution of Salesforce releases and deployments.

  • Staying Current: Keep abreast of the latest Salesforce releases, features, and best practices.

  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the Salesforce environment.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 8+ years of experience in Salesforce development.

  • Proven experience leading technical aspects of Salesforce projects.

  • Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.

  • Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, and security models.

  • Experience with Salesforce APIs and integration patterns (REST, SOAP, etc.).

  • Familiarity with Salesforce configuration and administration (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.).

  • Experience with agile development methodologies.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I & II, System Architect, Technical Architect).

  • Experience with CI/CD tools and processes for Salesforce.

  • Familiarity with enterprise integration tools and platforms.

  • Experience with other relevant technologies (e.g., JavaScript frameworks, SQL).

  • Experience working in a retail environment.


Hourly Rate: $70-90/hr
