Intro:

Apex Systems has partnered with a company who is a major player in the Tech Industry who is currently looking for a Break/Fix Support Technician in the Oklahoma City area! This on-site role is a project working on a W2 basis. If youre interested, then please apply directly!

Job Description:

Title: PC Break/Fix Technician

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: Ongoing (this position is slated to be ongoing, however we cannot guarantee length of client contracts)

Pay Rate: 17/hr

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • IT service delivery (IMAC, Break Fix, Desk side Support)
  • Performs trouble shooting, parts replacement, system upgrades and basic deployments & repair on Client Assets in campremote locations
  • Identifies potential issues that could adversely impact End User experience and follows through on action steps
  • Escalate to Desktop Support Site Lead on issues that impact a Client End User and/or entire operation at a given site
  • Serves as an entry point to develop technical and customer skills to grow into broader and more challenging field services roles
  • Basic installation and maintenance to technical products
  • Follows predefines procedures and tasks in everyday activities


Must-Haves:

Required Skills and Competencies:
  • CompTIA A+ or equivalent technical knowledge experience preferred
  • Minimum 1+ year experience in servicing/deploy computer equipment
  • Must have a proven customer service background
  • Must have experience in a corporate environment
  • Individual will be knowledgeable of Windows operation system environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with emphasis in customer service, including experience handling difficult customer and conflict resolution
