Skills:

Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of ServiceNow design and development specifically focused on CMDB experience.

Understanding of the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and CMDB best practices.

Hands-on experience with Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB Health Dashboards.

Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript), integrations (REST/SOAP APIs), and configuration.

Experience with CI lifecycle management and reconciliation processes.

Demonstrated understanding of ITIL practices

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Skills and Certifications:

ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist CMDB, Discovery, or ITOM.

Experience with cloud-native infrastructure discovery (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).

Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

ITIL v3 certification

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong presentation development and Customer Presentation skills Successful teamwork experience & demonstrated leadership abilities.

Role and Accountabilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow CMDB Developer to join our IT Service Management team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB). You will work closely with ITSM, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure accurate data modelling, discovery, and integrations that support Configuration Management and related ITIL processes. Candidates will be experienced in leading ServiceNow engagements end to end, In addition, the successful candidate(s) will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable CMDB data models within ServiceNow.

Implement and optimize Discovery and Service Mapping to maintain accurate configuration item (CI) data.

Configure and enhance CMDB-related modules such as Identification & Reconciliation, Dependency Views, CI Class Models, and CI Lifecycle Management.

Develop and maintain integrations with external systems (e.g., monitoring tools, asset management, cloud platforms) to feed CMDB data

Establish and enforce data governance, compliance, and quality standards for CMDB data

Work with stakeholders to define and implement business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and workflows to support CMDB and asset management

Collaborate with security, operations, and development teams to align CMDB with enterprise architecture and security requirements

Troubleshoot CMDB-related issues and provide technical guidance to support teams.

Produce technical documentation, diagrams, and user guides for CMDB processes and structures.

Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow platform enhancements and industry best practices.

Execute technical solutions in capacity as a Sr. consultant.

Contribute to the development of Fujitsu IP solutions in ServiceNow.

Coach and advise other Developers.
