Job Details
Lead AEM Administrator
Our client is seeking a Lead AEM Administrator to guide the transformation of a large-scale content ecosystem across digital platforms. This role is pivotal in optimizing enterprise content operations by improving workflows, driving platform adoption, and enhancing digital readiness across teams. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to support scalable content delivery.
This role is fully remote.
Responsibilities
Oversee administration of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and workflow platforms such as Adobe Workfront, including user access, system configuration, and maintenance.
Provide daily platform support, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate with vendor support teams on system upgrades and releases.
Deliver training, documentation, and onboarding support to drive adoption and effective use of content lifecycle tools.
Design and implement scalable workflows, forms, approval paths, and reporting tools to support enterprise-wide content operations.
Configure AEM components, metadata schemas, automated notifications, and project templates to enhance speed-to-market and platform efficiency.
Continuously assess and improve processes to identify automation or integration opportunities across content systems (CMS, DAM, PIM).
Support end-to-end asset lifecycle operations, including imagery, CGI, video, and copy, ensuring alignment across tools and teams.
Collaborate with technology, marketing, and creative teams to ensure cohesive integration across the digital content ecosystem.
Build dashboards and reports that monitor workflow performance, asset delivery, and resource utilization.
Help enforce metadata standards, content governance, and process consistency across platforms.

Lead AEM Administrator Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Digital Media, Information Systems, Marketing Operations, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in enterprise content operations, workflow administration, or digital project management.
3+ years of hands-on experience administering Adobe Workfront or similar workflow management tools.
Proficiency in administering AEM and working with DAM/PIM systems such as Widen, Bynder, Salsify, or Akeneo.
Strong understanding of content asset workflows including imagery, video, CGI, and editorial content.
Excellent communication and analytical skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
Proven ability to lead process improvements and support tool adoption across cross-functional teams.
