Job Description

We are looking for a System Integration and Test Engineer based in San Diego who can work onsite daily. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cellular UE development, integration, and testing, along with hands-on expertise in chipset technologies and related tools.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform integration and testing of cellular UE systems.
  • Conduct PHY/L1 verification and support calibration using standard tools and methodologies.
  • Work with Qualcomm and other chipset platforms to ensure performance and compliance.
  • Utilize tools like QXDM, Accuver XCAL, and Rohde & Schwarz CMW line for testing and debugging.
  • Support PTCRB, GCF, and 3GPP conformance test and debug activities.
  • Develop and maintain Python or similar scripts for test automation.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in cellular UE development, integration, and testing.
  • Hands-on experience with Qualcomm chipsets (LTE required).
  • Preferably experienced with one or more of the following chipsets: Mediatek, Sequans, GCT, etc.
  • Strong preference for candidates experienced with Category M, NB1, or NB2.
  • Proficiency in logging tools (QXDM, Accuver XCAL).
  • Solid understanding of PHY/L1 verification and calibration methods.
  • Must have experience with PTCRB, GCF, or other 3GPP conformance testing.
  • Familiarity with Rohde & Schwarz CMW test equipment.

Scripting experience in Python or a similar language.
