Location: Mason, OH 45040 Pay rate: $57.00/hr on W2 Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Configuration Analyst to join our Business Configuration Solutions team. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in Medicaid product configuration who can effectively lead cross-functional meetings, capture requirements, and deliver technical configuration solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong SQL expertise, deep healthcare claims knowledge (Medicaid/Medicare), and be confident representing the configuration function across strategic initiatives.

This position involves 60% hands-on configuration work and 40% collaboration with cross-functional teams, with a focus on capturing business requirements, troubleshooting, and executing testing across multiple Medicaid program implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) representing the Configuration workstream in large Government implementations (Medicaid, Medicare, Med/Surgical).
• Lead and facilitate cross-functional meetings to gather and document business requirements.
• Build, troubleshoot, and prototype Medicaid products using internal configuration tools.
• Execute configuration strategies and contribute to the automation roadmap for EyeMed's product and network offerings.
• Perform data analysis and validation; clean and prepare data by removing duplicates, outliers, and errors.
• Write complex SQL queries to support configuration development and troubleshooting.
• Act as a Business Analyst for configuration enhancements document requirements, create process flows, and conduct functional testing.
• Provide fit/gap analysis and feedback assessments on new client plan configurations.
• Collaborate with configuration leadership to drive roadmap deliverables.
• Prioritize work independently and meet SLAs and KPIs related to configuration and implementation projects.
• Maintain strong working relationships with team members and stakeholders across various business units and levels of leadership.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a configuration role, preferably in a healthcare or managed care setting.
• Proven experience working on Medicaid, Medicare, and/or Med/Surgical programs.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Deep understanding of healthcare claims, benefit configuration, and plan design.
• Experience with Facets or similar claims administration platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to confidently lead meetings and engage with stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with EyeMed s or similar Informatica-based configuration automation tools.
• Familiarity with Oracle SQL for data validation and Facets for claims testing.
• Experience in Agile or hybrid project environments.
• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
