SAP Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer with hands-on experience in SAP systems to optimize production processes, ensure efficient manufacturing operations, and support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will play a key role in bridging the gap between engineering, production, and ERP systems to enhance operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure quality.
• Utilize SAP (PP/MM/QM/PM modules) to manage and optimize production planning, materials management, and quality processes.
• Create and maintain BOMs (Bills of Materials), routings, and work centers in SAP.
• Analyze production data from SAP to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, supply chain, quality, and IT.
• Support the implementation of engineering changes and product lifecycle management through SAP.
• Provide training and support to shop floor and production staff on SAP usage and manufacturing best practices.
• Assist with new equipment selection, layout planning, and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all manufacturing processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 1 3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
• Strong proficiency in SAP ERP (especially PP, MM, and/or QM modules).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with CAD software and manufacturing process documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP S/4HANA experience.
• Certification in Lean/Six Sigma (e.g., Green Belt).
• Experience in high-volume or regulated manufacturing environments (e.g., automotive, aerospace, medical devices).
